The headmaster, John Corner, was keen to publicise the goings-on at the school, both to the general public and the Services.

It must be appreciated that the jounalists who wrote the articles were invited to the school for a couple of hours by the headmaster who clearly fed them information for publication. Inevitably the tone of the writing is of the 'positive' sort. However one would like to hear about the negative side of life at the school too!
